The LCD2004A intelligent controller includes an SD card reader, rotary encoders and a 20-character × 4 line LCD display. The display connects directly to all Makerbase host controllers using the included 60cm ribbon cables. An optional adapter allows the display to be connected to a RAMPS 1.4 board.

With the display connected to the host controller, like a RAMPS 1.4 or BASE V1.6, a computer is no longer required to control your printer. All further operations, such as calibration, the axis movement can be done only with a rotary encoder intelligent controller. Your 3D model can be printed directly from the G code stored on the SD card.
